JD MacDonald is a division of MacDonald Johnston Pty Ltd. As the market for washroom and hand drying equipment developed in Australia the JD MacDonald Division was formed. In 1959 the division expanded into washroom products including the distribution of imported electric hand dryers.
During 1985, the need for improved products was identified and JD MacDonald commenced the manufacture of electric hand dryers locally.
Significant product development has occurred since that time including the introduction of one of the world’s first automatic hand dryers. This development has continued and the JD MacDonald Division offers a range of unique products designed in Australia with the emphasis being on appearance, functionality and long life.
Manufactured in Australia the JD MacDonald hand dryer range is locally supported and continues to evolve incorporating the latest in design and technology.
In 2008 JD MacDonald effectively launched their childcare equipment now offering up to 10 product variations. Also introduced in 2008 was their new premium residential washroom range to their already well established washroom accessories products.
JD MacDonald recently launched their new Select Classic range. Suited to the more sophisticated and stylish washroom, their streamlined appearance provides everything you need; including paper towel, hand dryer and waste disposal all in the one unit.
JD MacDonald is a leading manufacturer of linen and garbage chutes, static compaction equipment and a range of locally made stainless steel cabinets for commercial washroom applications.
JD MacDonald operates a Quality Management System certified to AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000.
